Welcome Delilah Faith O'Hara!

Delilah Faith O'Hara was born on Friday the 13th (is that a bad omen?) of June 2008 at 10:20 p.m. She weighed in at 8 lbs. 3 oz. Both Faith and Delilah are home now and recovering quickly. Delilah is a good mix of her brothers and definitely have the O'Hara kid features. Delilah's brothers are enjoying having a sister and she seems to love all the noise they make. When Faith and Delilah were in the hospital, Delilah would have a hard time sleeping, but when her brothers came to visit and tried to tear apart the hospital, one hospital bed at a time, she would go right to sleep. She still seems to be comforted by the O'Hara boys unique bedtime lullaby.

New Dirt Bikes

The 3 oldest O'Hara boys (Dad is the oldest of the O'Hara boys) got dirt bikes! They've been riding early in the morning before it started getting really hot.

To the mountains!

We took the boys to the mountains and more importantly, the snow. Tobias had seen snow when he was a baby, but none of the other boys had seen snow. We built a snowman, had a snowball fight, made snow angels, and tried to sled.

Tobias' Baptism

Tobias was finally baptized!! Tobias chose to wait for his Dad to return before getting baptized. Tobias was baptized on February 9th. Congrats Tobias!!

Dad comes home!!!!!

Rod finally came home from Afghanistan. He traveled from Khowst, Afghanistan to Bagram. Then, it was on to Manas, Kyrgystan and Bangor, Maine. Finally, in the U.S., he stopped in North Carolina and stayed at Fort Sill, OK. for a couple days. He finally returned to Arizona and his family on February 2nd, 2008.

For Ammon's first birthday we celebrated with a present and chocolate cake out in our backyard. Ammy had his hair gelled up in a mohawk. He was way cute!!

We had so much fun watching Ammy devour his cake.

Yummy!!!
After Ammy ate his cake, he crawled over to the sandpit to play. It was fun watching him covered up in sand and chocolate goo.

Since Summer vacation has began, we seem to be busier than ever. Dinner time has become rush hour. Here is Ammy enjoying his tray of spaghetti. I had to take his shirt off for this.

After dinner, I immediately gotta throw the kiddos in the bath tub. Unfortunately for me, they have way too much fun splashing water and throwing bubbles.

Ammy is still our little thumbsucker. I don't think there is anything else in the world that could calm his nerves more.
